Palestinian Prisoner's Club publishes important details about prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons
- More than (5,250) prisoners are detained in (23) prisons, detention and investigation centers.
- (39) Female prisoners, most of whom are in (Damoun) prison.
- (170) children and minors, distributed among (Ofer, Megiddo, and Damoun) prisons.
The number of prisoners detained before the signing of the Oslo Accords is (22), the oldest of whom is Muhammad al-Tus, who has been detained since 1985. In addition, there are (11) prisoners who were liberated in the (Wafaa Al-Ahrar – Loyalty of Free People) deal, and who were re-arrested by the occupation. They are among the old prisoners who were arrested since before (Oslo) and were liberated in 2011 and re-arrested in 2014. The most prominent of them is the Nael Barghouti, who is serving the longest detention period in the history of the prisoner movement, and who spent more than (43) in the occupation prisons, of which he spent (34) years continuously.
- The number of prisoners released in the (Wafaa Al-Ahrar – Loyalty of Free People), and who were re-arrested is 48 prisoners.
- The number of prisoners who were sentenced to life imprisonment was (559), and the highest prison sentence was for prisoner Abdullah Al-Barghouti, whose term was (67) life imprisonment. It is important to note that there are prisoners awaiting life imprisonment sentences, and who were arrested during the past year and this year on the grounds of carrying out commando operations.
- Since 1967, the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement reached (237), in addition to hundreds of prisoners who were martyred after their liberation due to diseases they inherited from prisons. It is worth mentioning that documenting the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement since 1967 does not mean that there were no martyrs before this date.
- The number of prisoners whose bodies are being detained is 11: Anis Dawla, who was martyred in Ashkelon prison in 1980, Aziz Owaisat since 2018, Fares Baroud, Nassar Taqatqa, and Bassam Al-Sayeh, all three of whom were martyred during the year 2019, and Saadi Al-Gharabli, and Kamal Abu Waar during In 2020, prisoner Sami Al-Amour, who was martyred in 2021, and the prisoner Daoud Al-Zubaidi, who was martyred in 2022, in addition to prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who was martyred in December 2022, and martyr Khader Adnan, who was martyred on May 2, 2023.
- Administrative detainees: More than (1,300) administrative detainees, including four female prisoners (Raghad Al-Fanni, Samah Awad, Hanan Al-Barghouti, and Fatima Abu Shalal), and more than (20) children.
