The Israeli authorities hold (142) women from Gaza Strip including infants

The Commission of Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Society Prisoner’s Club revealed that the Israeli authority is holding (142) women and girls from Gaza Strip in Israeli prisons, including baby girls and elderly women who have been arrested during the ground invasion to Gaza.

According to the provided data, women detainees are held in different prisons, including (Damoun and Hasharon).

Detainees’ Institutions previously issued a statement saying that the Israeli authorities implement terrible and awful crimes against detainees from Gaza, besides the denial of revealing their fate , in terms of their numbers, place of detention and health conditions.

In the light of the terrible and chocking testimonies and pictures came from Gazan citizens who have been arrested lately, fears on their fate increase day by day , where detainees’ institutions expect that the Israeli authorities may implement field executions against detainees from Gaza.

It has been indicated that the IPS announced at the end of November that (260) detainees from Gaza are captured and classified as illegal fighters.

In the light of the systematic abuse and torture, the fascist minister Ben Gvir submitted a request to the IPS, asking for transferring Gazan detainees to the isolation of Rakvit, established underneath Nitsan Ramla prison, which is one of the worst prisons in Israel.
