Prisoner's Club: Cancer-stricken captive Ali Al-Haroob faces a compounded medical crime after October 7.
The occupation prisons administration deprives him of the radiation treatment prescribed by his doctors.
Ramallah - "The Palestinian Prisoners' Club" stated that the 50-year-old captive Ali Al-Haroob from Dura/AlKalil, diagnosed with cancer, is confronting a compounded medical crime after October 7 in "Nafha" Prison. He is one of hundreds of sick and injured prisoners facing systematic medical crimes, escalating after October 7 due to retaliatory measures implemented by the prison administration against them. "The Prisoners' Club" explained that since medical reports in August revealed the spread of tumors in new areas of his body, Al-Haroob has not received the prescribed radiation treatment to this day. Concerns about the potential spread of the disease to other parts of his body are growing. Al-Haroob has been battling cancer for over two years, and delays in diagnosing and treating it led to its spread to other parts of his body. It's worth noting that he has been imprisoned since 2010 and sentenced to 25 years in prison. Additionally, sick and injured prisoners are facing increased suffering today due to torture and abuse that has escalated unprecedentedly against them, with current torture operations serving as clear evidence of the occupation's extended criminality against prisoners in its jails. In this context, "the Prisoners' Club" asserts that what is happening to sick prisoners is part of the occupation's longstanding medical crimes against prisoners. Recently released prisoner Farouq Al-Khatib from Ramallah, in critical health due to the medical crime he suffered in occupation prisons, being diagnosed with cancer without receiving necessary treatment, stands as a prominent example of the crimes committed against sick prisoners in occupation prisons."
