Statements of the commission’s lawyer Khaled Mahajna on his visitation to detainees from Gaza in Ofer prison: journalist Muhammad Arab and Tareq Abed

- Before transferring the journalist Muhammad Arab from Sadeh Timan camp to Ofer prison, he witnessed a sick detainees begging for treatment but he martyred after being attacked.
- ⁠Arab has been interrogated inside Sadeh Timan camp on the visit and the details he gave, he was threatened to be punished because of these information.
- ⁠Journalist Arab recounted details of detainees being raped, including a detainee who was completely stripped and had a fire extinguisher inserted into his back, and the materials were sprayed inside him. The detainee is in a very serious physical and psychological condition.
- Another detainee was completely stripped and electrocuted in his back, his genitals were pulled, in addition to other methods of sexual abuse that are difficult to describe.

- ⁠the journalist Arab did not recognize that he existed in Ofer prison until he was informed 
- ⁠he was transferred from Sadeh Timan camp to Ofer prison with around 100 detainees while being blindfolded. They thought that they were being taken to a military camp near Gaza
- ⁠there are more than 100 detainees, sick and injured persons within any medical treatment 
- ⁠in Ofer prison, the structure of the prison differs , as cells are unventilated and measures about 5-6 meters, including iron beds without mattresses or pillows, where 25 detainees are held.

- ⁠each detainee has 100 grams of bread , a cucumber or a tomato and this is considered as breakfast, lunch and dinner

- ⁠Ofer prison has two sections, one of them is called Hell section, where detainees can’t see other while tortured, but only hear their voices.
