▪ 59 Palestinian political prisoners killed by Israeli occupation since Gaza genocide

Ramallah, Palestine - The number of Palestinian political detainees murdered by the Israeli occupation has risen to 59 people. This figure includes the Palestinian detainee Mus’ab Haniyeh whose killing was disclosed by the Israeli army only yesterday, seven weeks after Haniyeh’s martyrdom on January 5, 2025. 

Among the 59 identified martyred detainees, at least 38 were arrested from Gaza. The occupation continues to conceal the bodies and identities of dozens of martyrs among the detainees of Gaza.

Haniyeh is the 296th martyred detainee since Israel’s occupation of 1967. He is the 68th martyred detainee whose body is being withheld by the army, including 57 of those since the start of the genocide.
