🔴 Israeli occupation prison forces carried out four violent crackdowns on the cells of Palestinian female political prisoners in Damon prison over the past 18 days alone — on August 4, 8, 10, and 14. 

🔴 Female detainees were handcuffed, dragged, humiliated and beaten, with gas and police dogs used.

🔴 Prison conditions are inhumane. Palestinian detainees are suffering from hunger, skin infections, insect infestations, extreme heat, lack of ventilation, and denial of basic hygiene — with no regard for added vulnerability of women, such as menstrual and reproductive health needs.

🔴 There are currently 48 female detainees, including two minors and two pregnant women. The majority of detainees are held over allegations of “incitement” over social media based on Israeli military laws that violate the most basic human rights to freedom of speech, expression and assembly.
