Ramallah, occupied Palestine – The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society stated that, over the course of three days of the Israeli occupation’s assault on the town of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, large-scale arrests were carried out encompassing 14 residents, including the head of the village council, Amin Abu Aliya.

Occupation forces also conducted field interrogations with dozens of residents, including entire families as well as women and children. Among those arrested were the brothers of the martyr Hamdi Abu Aliya.

The PPS added that the recent aggression on the town was accompanied by widespread acts of vandalism affecting agricultural lands, including the bulldozing of vast areas and the uprooting of thousands of trees. They attacked residents' homes and carried out various assaults, including severe beatings, particularly during arrests and field interrogations. Occupation forces also detained entire families for long hours, during which money and gold jewelry were stolen.
