قال نادي الأسير الفلسطيني، إنّ سجن "النقب" الذي تحتجز فيه سلطات الاحتلال متضامني "أسطول الصمود"، يُعدّ واحدًا من أبرز السجون التي وُثّقت فيها مئات الجرائم والانتهاكات بحقّ الأسرى والمعتقلين الفلسطينيين.

وأضاف نادي الأسير أنّ سجن "النقب" يضم آلاف الأسرى الفلسطينيين، وبينهم معتقلون من غزة، مشيرًا إلى أنّ عددًا من الأسرى ارتقوا فيه منذ بدء حرب الإبادة، ومن بينهم الأسير ثائر أبو عصب الذي استُشهد جرّاء الضرب المبرح والتعذيب على أيدي وحدات القمع.

وتابع نادي الأسير أنّ المقاطع التي نشرها مجددًا الوزير الفاشي "بن غفير" ليست الأولى من نوعها، سواء من داخل سجن "النقب" أو غيره من السجون، إذ سبق أن ظهر في مشاهد مشابهة وهو يصف الأسرى الفلسطينيين بأبشع الأوصاف، ويهدّدهم بالقتل، ويستعرض عمليات التنكيل والإذلال بحقّهم. وما جرى اليوم بحقّ المتضامنين الأحرار يُشكّل امتدادًا لهذه السياسة.

كما أدان نادي الأسير العدوان الذي شنّته سلطات الاحتلال على متضامني "أسطول الصمود" واستمرار احتجازهم في أحد أسوأ السجون الإسرائيلية، إلى جانب الهجوم الذي شنّه الوزير الفاشي "بن غفير" بوصفهم "إرهابيين".

وأكّد نادي الأسير أنّ الجرائم والفظائع التي ترتكبها منظومة السجون الإسرائيلية تجاوزت كل القوانين والأعراف الحقوقية الدولية، إذ تحوّلت السجون والمعسكرات الإسرائيلية إلى ساحات للإبادة بأشكال مختلفة، نتيجة الجرائم الممنهجة التي ارتُكبت على مدار العامين الماضيين.

ويُذكر أنّ سجن "النقب"، أو ما يُعرف تاريخيًا بـ"معتقل أنصار 3"، أنشأه الاحتلال عام 1988 عقب اندلاع الانتفاضة الأولى، واحتُجز فيه آلاف الأسرى مع تصاعد المواجهة في تلك الفترة، واستُشهد فيه العديد منهم.

ووجّه نادي الأسير مجدداً التحية لمتضامني "أسطول الصمود" الذين حملوا رسالتهم الإنسانية في وقت يواصل فيه المجتمع الدولي عجزه الممنهج أمام حرب الإبادة المستمرة ضدّ الشعب الفلسطيني.

🔴 Naqab Prison: Where Sumud Flotilla Activists Held, One of the Most Abusive Prisons

Ramallah, occupied Palestine - The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) stated that the Naqab (Negev) Prison, where the Israeli occupation authorities are detaining the Sumud Flotilla activists is one of the most prominent prisons where hundreds of crimes and violations against Palestinian political prisoners have been documented.

The PPS explained that the Naqab Prison holds thousands of Palestinian prisoners, including detainees from Gaza, noting that a number of prisoners have been killed there since the start of the genocide, among them prisoner Thaer Abu Asab, who was martyred as a result of severe beatings and torture by special repression units.

The PPS said that the message recently published again by the fascist minister Itamar Ben Gvir is not the first of its kind—whether from inside Naqab Prison or other prisons. He has previously appeared in similar videos describing Palestinian prisoners in the most despicable terms, threatening them with death, and showcasing acts of abuse and humiliation. What happened today to the solidarity activists is a continuation of this same policy.

The PPS also condemned the assault carried out by the occupation authorities against the Sumud Flotilla activists and the continued detention of these activists in one of the worst Israeli prisons, in addition to the attack launched by the fascist minister Ben Gvir, who labeled them “terrorists.”

The PPS affirmed that the crimes and atrocities committed by the Israeli prison system have surpassed all international legal and human rights norms, as Israeli occupation prisons and camps have turned into arenas of extermination in various forms due to the systematic crimes committed over the past two years.

It is worth noting that the Naqab Prison, historically known as “Ansar 3 Detention Center” was established by the occupation in 1988 following the outbreak of the First Intifada. Thousands of prisoners were held there as confrontations escalated during that period, and many were martyred inside the facility.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society salutes the Sumud Flotilla solidarity activists, who carried their humanitarian message at a time when the international community continues its systematic failure in the face of the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people.
