🔴 UPDATE: Palestinian Political Prisoner Figures as of May 2026

▪️Figures based on data gathered by Palestinian prisoner organizations and the Israeli occupation’s prison services up to early May 2026.

🔗 The number of Palestinian political prisoners and detainees currently held in Israeli occupation prisons has exceeded 9,400 people - the vast majority of them males. 

These include: 
🔗 87 female prisoners.
🔗 360 children held in the prisons of Megiddo and Ofer.
🔗 3,376 people arrested from the occupied West Bank held under “administrative detention” without trial or charge. 
🔗 1,283 people arrested from the occupied Gaza Strip held under the “unlawful combatants” law. This figure does not include all Gaza detainees held in camps run by the Israeli military and are classified under this category. This classification also includes Arab detainees from Lebanon and Syria.
